H&M has opened its first UK branch of Arket – a sub-brand which offers ‘essential’ fashion and home ranges – in London’s Regent Street, while a second branch is prepared on Long Acre in nearby Covent Garden.
Arket, which means ‘sheet of paper’ in Swedish, sells both own-brand and third party products. It is expanding rapidly, with openings planned in Copenhagen, Brussels and Munich also planned.
The Regent Street store is set over two floors, with menswear, homewares and a café on the ground floor and womenswear and children’s ranges above. Interiors have been designed in-house.
