Italian pizza and craft beer brand Lievito has opened its debut branch, on London’s Fulham Road.
The restaurant is spread over two floors and 1,099 sq ft, with 40 covers and a ‘grab and go’ offer. As well as a menu offering pizza and traditional dishes from south-west Italy, the venue offers a range of speciality beers.
Design, by Fabrica Architecture, retains original features from the Victorian building and incorporates a visible pizza oven and low lighting around the exposed brick alcoves of the original cellars.
“Our concept breaks the mould of traditional pizzerias, marrying innovation with authenticity and in turn producing something one-off,” says Lievito founder Rocco Caridi. “Our restaurant reflects Calabria both in style and identity, and we are delighted to showcase this in London, specifically in Chelsea. As a brand, we desire to grow and reach new customers, and there is no better place for us to do this than the Fulham Road”.
