Tecna Display will be introducing its products to a new audience at Retail Design Expo 2017, in a bid to grow its presence in the retail sector.
The group designs and manufactures ranges of modular displays, framing systems and fabric lightboxes. Used extensively by the exhibition industry and by clients in entertainment sectors, for example in cinema displays, the products are gaining traction in retail, says Tecna managing director Jonathan Evitt.
The T3 Affinity display system and T3 range of lightboxes will be on show at the company’s stand. “One of our major interests is the growth of pop-up stores,” says Evitt, who adds that the group’s modular products also appeal because they allow seasonal display changes to be implemented, without tools, by store staff.
“It’s very simple. There’s a wide range of accessories, and you can buy a kit of parts or a full custom solution,” says Evitt, who has visited Retail Design Expo a number of times as a visitor.
“It’s fair to say that we are not that well known in retail, despite exporting to 40 different countries,” says Evitt. Tecna won a Queen’s Award for Export in 2012 because of its success in this area.
