A new 3,901 sq ft (42,000 sq ft) leisure destination added to the Intu Derby shopping centre has attracted a number of leisure brands to the East Midlands for the first time.
The new leisure space has been created by converting a deck of the centre’s multi-storey car park to create a strong retail and leisure mix.
“By further establishing Intu Derby as a sought-after destination for brands and customers, our new leisure offer is exactly the right space for Hollywood Bowl and Paradise Island Adventure Golf to reach customers in the east midlands the region for the first time,” says Intu regional director Nick Round.
“Our strategy is to create a stronger leisure offer and retail mix across our nationwide portfolio of shopping destinations so we’re excited to be making this a reality by bringing more compelling experiences to intu Derby customers that will help all our retailers to flourish,” adds Round.
