Breitling store opens in Manchester's Trafford Centre

18th May 2017

Swiss watch brand Breitling has opened a new 93 sq m (1000 sq ft) store in Manchester’s Intu Trafford Centre.

The store, designed in-house, reflects Breitling’s aeronautical ties – the brand lays claim to being the ‘official supplier to world aviation’.

A glazed façade leads shoppers to an interior that features extensive use of American walnut and Quadrillo wood panelling chosen to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A 4.5m high vaulted ceiling dominates the store, lowering towards the rear of the store to create a more intimate customer service area and sales lounge.

Bold pop art painting, by artist Kevin T. Kelly, emphasise the aviation theme. Showcases are adorned with a mosaic of carved aircraft and Breitling’s pin-up girl mascot.

The store offers Breitling’s full range of watches, and will open seven days a week.

The store is managed by Aurum Holdings, parent group of brands including Goldsmiths and Watches of Switzerland, which also operates the Breitling store at Bluewater.
