POPAI has today announced the list of nominations for the 11th Annual POPAI Awards.
The POPAI Awards celebrate creativity, innovation and best practice in retail marketing, in sectors such as grocery, entertainment, leisure, home and garden, consumer electronics, and health and beauty.
This year the Awards have seen the launch of two new categories; Seasonal & Signage and Category Management & Furniture alongside the previously popular categories of Short run – Temporary, Short run - Permanent, Shop-in-Shop, Flagship & Store, Campaign & Experiential, Installation, Innovation, and Sustainability.
In addition to these categories, POPAI will also reveal the winners of Display of the Year Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for best Temporary and Permanent Display at the Awards ceremony in October.
Leading the way this year with seven nominations each are Arken P-O-P and InContrast/STI Line, while Stormdfx has received a total of five nominations. Alrec received four, and Pivotal Retail Marketing and Smurfit Kappa Display UK each received three nominations.
A number of companies received two nominations: Haygarth, Linney, Once Upon a Time, Superior Creative Solutions and the Delta Group.
The nominations were announced at the POPAI Shopper Seminar in London’s Covent Garden today (11th July). Those nominated will have to wait until the full awards ceremony in October to find out whether they have won a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award.
Taking place at the Lancaster London Hotel on Tuesday 3rd October the awards ceremony will be a glittering evening of industry celebration and networking - tables are available to book now.
