New look for Australian lingerie retailer Honey Birdette

Australian lingerie retailer Honey Birdette has appointed retail design group 20.20 to drive its brand forward in preparation for expansion to the UK and beyond.

The first part of the project has seen a new flagship store developed for Australia. It is now trading in Parramatta, Sydney.

“We have worked closely with the Honey Birdette team to ensure that shopper behaviours are understood and reflected in the store design, whilst retaining the integrity of the brand,” says 20.20 client services director Lorraine Tovey.

The new store format introduces an element of theatre to the store, with display fixtures designed to add a more intimate and interactive feel.

A black, red and gold colour scheme is used throughout, with upholstered seats and textured wall materials giving a luxurious finish. Dark gloss wall tiles and heavy pistachio curtains in the changing rooms have been chosen to bring a warmth and richness designed to appeal to international shoppers
