Match pop-up visitors get chance to sniff out a mate

Dating app Match has opened an experiential pop-up store for Valentine’s Day. Located in Exmouth Market in London the store is called Eau.M.G (or Eau Mon Garcon).


Visitors are invited to sniff bottled fragrances created from the scents of male Match members, then attempt to match the scents to individual Match profiles. If the visitors find a scent they think would be  a good match they can contact them through a link on the scent packaging, using a free three-day  trial membership to the Match service.


The fragrances have been created in partnership with Parisian brand CARACTER, which uses ‘olfactory photography’ to capture the essence of personal scent. The store has been opened via Appear Here.
